Happy spent the first years of her life under a tree on a short chain.
She had no shelter that could protect her from rain or the sun. She suffered from
leishmaniosis, which is why she had no fur and was covered in bloody
wounds.
We rescued happy and brought her to our animal sanctuary, but we weren’t able to
properly take care of her injured skin. So without further ado, we took her home! At home we bathed her and tucked her into blankets and we noticed immediately that she felt safer and taken care of!
After her vaccinations were completed, we took her to Austria.
Now she’s living with a family in Carinthia and couldn’t be happier! Her coat has grown again and she is a beautiful dog lady who brings a lot of joy to her owners!
