A sponsorship entails that you voluntarily take on the duty of caring for one or more dogs. The period and the nature of this duty of care varies depending on the type of sponsorship as well as your possibilities.
Why choose a sponsorship?
Sponsoring an animal welfare dog helps covering the costs of caring for and housing a dog and allows animal welfare organizations to continue to take in and care for dogs. For many dogs in animal welfare, a sponsorship means getting a second chance at life.
What is my money used for?
Food for our shelter dogs
Your donation ensures, among other things, that our dogs do not have to suffer from hunger.
Medical care
We want to provide our rescued dogs with the best medical care possible. So that we can take away some of your worries when you choose to adopt one.
Toys & Accessories
So that our foundlings have a soft bed and also a little fun while they're waiting for you.
What kinds of sponsorships exist?
Name Sponsorship
You donate an amount of your choice once. In return, you can choose the name of a dog.
Pet Sponsorship
You can also sponsor a dog at the shelter. You donate a monthly amount of 35€ and:
- become godfather or aunt.
- determine the way your money is put to use
(e.g. that your dog gets certain treats, walks with him or even a small gift for Christmas. We have many ideas and we are open to and grateful for any). - get regular updates and photos about your new furry friend and will sleep well knowing that YOU are making the real difference for this dog.
In fact, it’s also a beautiful way to become an owner of a living creature when at the moment you simply don’t have the opportunities and living situations to house an animal yourself.
Flight Sponsorship
You are in Greece and fly home from Athens (to Germany or Austria) and take a dog with you. You don’t have to pay anything, everything is organized by us.
Membership
You become a member of the association and support us every month with an amount of your choice.
