Neutering Project
For some years now, we have been trying to reduce animal suffering not only through placements and support of a local animal shelter, but by getting to the root of the problem. For this purpose, we work closely with the local veterinarian in Kranidi, George Karatheopoulos.
Not only is he always on hand to help our furry friends with minor and major medical procedures, but he also tirelessly neuters stray dogs and cats.

Periodic Neuterings
Since 2020, with his help and the support of local animal welfare organizations, we have been carrying out regular castration projects. Because only through this we can solve this problem sustainably.

International Support
The local team is further supported by many volunteers from Austria and Germany. Many students of veterinary medicine, veterinary assistants and veterinarians are tirelessly supporting us in our projects. Because of this, we were able to neuter over 500 animals in Porto Heli and the surrounding area in 2022.
Considering that each pair of animals could statistically produce offspring of over 10,000 animals within the span of 5 years, the suffering of over 250,000 animals could thus be prevented!
